For a good ranking in search engines the content of the website is crucial. Nowadays Google and other search engines look at the content as well as the keywords
Ideally the page should be optimized for just a few keywords which have to occur in the text (3 - 5 times should suffice), the description and the title of the page. Often the description is displayed in the search results, especially when it matches the search criteria.
Generally, a well-written text with good information is the best search engine optimization, and provides the best benefit for the visitor.
M-CMS creates a list of keywords automatically. For this purpose, content, description and title indexes and the twenty most common words that are longer than four characters are used as keywords.
M-CMS creates path in plaintext that are readable for humans ans Search engines alike (special characters, umlauts, etc., are automatically replaced browser-friendly). When a page is renamed, a history is created and requests to the old page are automatically forwarded.
The sitemap (sitemap.xml) file is a standard developed by some search. M-CMS dynamically generates this file that contains a list of all pages of the website (and all languages) and the date of their last modification. Search engines read this file and consider the changes to index the referred pages.
M-CMS strives for accessibility. Images can be given an alternative text, which appears when images can’t be loaded (eg. because they are disabled on a computer of a blind visitor). These texts will be evaluated by search engines, which can’t see the images.
